Cherry Lodge

Cherry Lodge sits close to the north-western edge of Dartmoor National Park, around three miles from Okehampton, where shops, takeaways and supermarkets cater for walkers, cyclists and climbers heading onto the moor. An Italian restaurant and bar are within walking distance, and the nearest shop is about two miles away.

The lodge sleeps four and is entered via a set of external stairs leading to the front door. Inside, the master bedroom is a double with its own en-suite shower room, WC and television, while the second bedroom is a cosy twin. A separate bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC completes the sleeping arrangements. The open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner has floor-to-ceiling windows, soft furnishings, a Smart TV and an electric fire for evenings in.

The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a Bosch Tassimo coffee machine (pods not included), with a separate utility cupboard housing a washer/dryer. Outside, a decked terrace at the front is suited to alfresco meals, while a private sunken hot tub sits on a rear decked area, complete with an auxiliary cable for connecting a phone or device. Note that the hot tub is drained and refilled between bookings, so it may not be fully up to temperature on the first evening.

Off-road parking is provided for two cars, though there is no electric vehicle charging point on site. Internet access is available, and up to two dogs can stay, subject to an additional charge. Arrival is from 4pm and departure before 10am.
