Barley Meadow

Barley Meadow is a traditional stone cottage in Boasley Cross, next door to the owners' farmhouse on a non-working farm and set in a quiet rural spot close to Dartmoor National Park, near Okehampton 7 miles away. The cottage has two reception rooms and a large kitchen with a breakfast area, and it sleeps 4 across three bedrooms and one bathroom.

There's a double bedroom and two single bedrooms, all sharing the family bathroom, which has a bath and a separate walk-in shower, plus a ground-floor cloakroom with a basin and WC. The sitting room holds a large sofa bed, and the kitchen has a breakfast table, electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, along with a TV, DVD player, CD/radio and WiFi.

Outside, a side lawned garden has a private hot tub, a patio and furniture, a good spot for dogs and children to play safely while adults unwind with a drink or dine alfresco. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, each carrying an extra charge for the stay, and licensed day boarding kennelling is available on site for an additional cost.

Off-road parking is provided for 2 cars. Smoking is not permitted, and the shop is 3 miles away with the pub 4 miles away, with plenty of countryside walking straight from the door.
