Wilkey's Beach House

Wilkey's Beach House sits close to the beach at Westward Ho, with Northam Burrows and the sea within easy reach on foot. The house sleeps six across three bedrooms and has been arranged with a reverse-level layout, putting the main living space upstairs to make the most of the views over Northam Country Park to the beach beyond.

On the ground floor there are two bedrooms: a super-king with its own en-suite shower room, and a zip-and-link twin (which can be made into a 5'6 double on request) with French doors to the rear garden. A separate bathroom with shower over bath serves this floor, along with a snug fitted with a smart TV, sofa and games. Upstairs, the third bedroom is a king-size with its own en-suite shower room and leads out to a front balcony furnished with a table and chairs.

The open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner occupies the first floor beneath a vaulted ceiling, with bi-folding doors opening onto a rear balcony that also has sea views. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, wine cooler and an espresso machine, while a washing machine is housed in a utility area accessed via the garage. That same garage doubles as a games area with a pool table, dart board and storage for surfboards and wetsuits, plus buckets and spades for the beach.

Outside there is an enclosed garden with a patio and outdoor seating. Parking is provided for one car on the driveway, with further parking available roadside and in a nearby dawn-to-dusk car park. Two dogs are welcome by prior arrangement, and the whole property, including balconies and garden, is non-smoking and vaping-free. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available on request, useful for families booking the ground-floor bedrooms.
