Duck Egg Cottage

This single-storey cottage sits on a cliff-top estate above Westward Ho beach, with private access through the grounds to the South West Coast Path and directly onto the sand. Private parking for two cars is provided on site, and the beach is reachable on foot without leaving the estate.

Six guests are accommodated across three bedrooms: one super kingsize, one super kingsize zip-and-link that converts to twins on request, and one twin zip-and-link that can be made up as a super kingsize. The en-suite bathroom has a bath, walk-in shower and WC; a separate family shower room with WC serves the remaining bedrooms. All three bedrooms have Smart TVs, as does the lounge, which is fitted with three sofas and an electric steam effect stove.

The open-plan kitchen and lounge is equipped with a gas oven and hob, dishwasher, washer-dryer, coffee machine and wine cooler, alongside a breakfast bar for quick meals. A private enclosed courtyard, accessible from both the hallway and lounge, holds a six-person hot tub, gas BBQ, garden table and chairs, and sun loungers. The shared play barn with table football, table tennis, pool and basketball is open from Easter to October. A travel cot and highchair are available on request at the time of booking.

Two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply. Pubs, shops and restaurants are around 1.5 miles away. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00.
