Wildflower Bryony Cottage

A restored stone barn cottage within a well-kept complex on the outskirts of Langtree, near Torrington, this semi-detached property sleeps four across two bedrooms. One room has a king-size bed and an en-suite with shower over bath and WC; the second has twin beds, configurable as a super-king on request, served by a separate shower room. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, Nespresso machine with milk frother, bread-making machine (complimentary bread mix supplied), and a washer-dryer. A Smart TV sits in the lounge alongside two sofas.

The enclosed rear garden and patio with outdoor seating is a comfortable place to eat outside, and the boundary fence adjoins a grazing field, so farm animals sometimes approach from the other side. A charcoal BBQ is available on request. Parking is included for one car directly by the property, with additional spaces available on request.

The working farm complex sets this cottage apart. Guests have full access to animal enclosures housing alpacas, a miniature donkey, pygmy goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs and a goose, plus a gnome garden, fairy walking trail, woodland paths and a gentle stream, all across eight acres. Each morning there is a daily animal feed, egg collecting and a tractor ride with the owners. Indoor and outdoor play areas are also on site. A highchair and travel cot are available on request. No dogs are permitted.

The Tarka Trail can be joined roughly two miles away, and a village shop and pub are at a similar distance. The North Devon coast is within driving range, with Westward Ho! the nearest beach at around ten miles.
