Sunrise Oak Apple Cottage

Sunrise Oak Apple Cottage is a semi-detached, two-bedroom holiday home on a working farm complex of seven cottages near Langtree, a short drive from Torrington in North Devon. It sleeps four across a king-size room and a twin, both upstairs, with one bathroom featuring a shower over a shorter-length bath and WC. Two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply.

The ground floor opens into a combined lounge, kitchen and dining area with exposed beams, two sofas, a TV with DVD player, and an electric fireplace. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine with milk frother, bread-making machine (complimentary bread mix included) and a washer-dryer. A highchair and travel cot are available on request.

Outside, a private enclosed garden at the front of the cottage provides lawn, patio and outdoor seating for all guests. There is also direct access to a shared lawn. A charcoal BBQ is provided on request, and parking is available for one car beside the cottage, with additional spaces on request.

The farm complex itself is a significant draw, with 8 acres of grounds including indoor and outdoor play areas, a gnome garden, fairy walk, woodland paths and a gentle stream. Animal enclosures house alpacas, a miniature donkey, pygmy goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs and a goose; each morning guests can join the owners for animal feeding, egg collecting and a tractor ride. A village shop and pub are around 2 miles away.
