Two Shoes Cottage

Two Shoes Cottage sits in Sourton, a small village on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, with Okehampton about 3.7 miles away as the nearest market town. The open-plan ground floor has a kitchen, dining area and sitting area built around a woodburning stove, with a first-floor sitting room offering a second spot to relax, this one with countryside views and sunsets over Bodmin Moor.

Both bedrooms are on the ground floor, reached via two steps: a super-king-size that can convert to a twin, with an en-suite hip bath and shower over, and a second twin room. A separate shower room has a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail, bidet and WC. The kitchen has an electric double oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer, with three TVs, a DVD player and WiFi, and oil central heating throughout.

Outside, a garden with lawn, patio and a low-level fence has a barbecue (bring your own charcoal), table, chairs and furniture, plus a large shed for bikes that isn't secure. Off-road parking is provided for 2 cars. A highchair and travel cot are available on request.

Two Shoes Cottage welcomes two well-behaved dogs. The property has traditional stone flooring that can be uneven, steps between the living area and bedrooms, and steep stairs up to the gallery area, so children and pets need supervising throughout. Some road noise may be heard from the nearby A-road. The nearest shop is 1.4 miles away and the pub 0.2 miles. Smoking is not permitted.
