Twitchers Itch

Twitchers Itch sits on a small complex of three cottages at East Chilla, near Beaworthy, with the owners on hand nearby should anything be needed during a stay. This traditional cottage mixes original period features with more contemporary touches, and its position on the complex allows for a good degree of privacy.

The ground floor holds a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, with an electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, Tassimo coffee machine and washing machine, plus a dining table seating all guests. The sitting room offers comfortable seating around a smart TV and a wood burner for cooler evenings, and there's a separate downstairs WC with a walk-in shower alongside the main family shower room. Upstairs, three bedrooms provide a king-size room and two twins, sleeping up to six guests, served by a family bathroom with a bath and WC. Some upstairs rooms have low ceiling heights, a feature of the cottage's traditional build.

Outside, an enclosed patio houses a private hot tub and a charcoal barbecue, along with further seating for relaxing outdoors. Guests also have access to a shared games room with table football and table tennis. Private parking is available for two cars, though there is no EV charging point on site. Wi-Fi is provided but can run slower at times due to the rural setting.

A travel cot and highchair are available on request, making this a practical option for families. Up to three dogs can stay, with an additional charge applying. A pub and shop are around two miles away. Note that the property is decorated for Christmas during the festive season.
