Turnpike Lodge

Turnpike Lodge is a single-storey converted bungalow set in the garden of a Grade II listed building in Brixham, built for a couple. Off-road designated parking is provided for 1 car, and the open-plan living space holds a kitchen, dining area and sitting area finished in dark blue decor, with a dining table for two looking out over the garden.

The kitchen has a gas oven, gas hob, microwave and fridge, with central heating throughout the lodge. The king-size bedroom is furnished with storage for belongings, and the shower room has a walk-in shower, basin, WC and a Velux window, with bird-and-flower wallpaper adding some colour. A TV and WiFi are provided, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

Outside, a non-enclosed front patio has a pond, shrubs and furniture, a spot for morning coffee before heading out to explore. Brixham itself is a working fishing town with pubs, eateries and a convenience store close by: the nearest shop is 0.1 miles away, a pub 0.6 miles off, and the beach 0.8 miles away.

Turnpike Lodge does not accept pets, and the property does not accept children, so it suits couples travelling on their own. Smoking is not permitted inside, and check-in is from 3pm with check-out by 10am.
