Egret

Egret is a ground-floor apartment at The Cove, a group of waterfront properties overlooking Fishcombe Cove in Brixham. The open-plan living space combines the kitchen, dining area and sitting area, and timber decking beyond the patio doors gets glimpses of the sea through the surrounding woodland, a sunny spot for morning coffee before heading out.

The double bedroom has a TV and DVD player, and a shower room next door has a walk-in shower, basin and WC. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and washer/dryer, and the sitting area adds a TV with Freeview, DVD and an iPod dock alongside WiFi. Electric central heating covers the apartment, with fuel, power, bed linen and towels all included in the rent.

Guests share use of the grounds' gardens, picnic areas and a heated outdoor swimming pool, open during the season. Off-road parking is allocated for one car in a gated car park, and a front patio has its own furniture for sitting out with a coffee or a drink. The beach itself is 0.1 miles away, with a shop 0.6 miles off and a pub 0.7 miles away.

No pets are allowed and the apartment is no smoking throughout. Single-night bookings are not accepted, so plan on at least two nights when you book.
