Tulip Tree Cottage

Tulip Tree Cottage sits in Axmouth, near Seaton, and sleeps six across three bedrooms. Entry is from the roadside into a hallway, with a cosy lounge to one side featuring original period character and a wood burner supplied with an initial set of logs.

The kitchen is fitted for everyday cooking, with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, small under-stairs freezer, Bosch coffee machine, washing machine and dishwasher. A sunroom off the kitchen looks over the garden and holds the dining table, while a WC sits under the stairs on the ground floor.

Upstairs are two double bedrooms and one twin room, two of which retain original 19th-century feature fireplaces. The single family bathroom has a shower over the bath and a WC, so households sharing the property will need to coordinate around one bathroom.

Outside, an enclosed south-facing garden includes a lawn, a patio dining area and a barbecue, making it a practical spot for meals outdoors. Off-road parking is provided for one vehicle with a permit, and internet access is available. Two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply. A cot, highchair and stairgate can be hired on request, and a pub is within a quarter of a mile.
