Three-bed cottage in Axmouth, dogs welcome

Set in Axmouth about 1.5 miles from Seaton, The Pidgeon Nest is a three-bedroom cottage sleeping six across a king-size double, a twin and a bunk room reserved for children. A family bathroom with bath and shower over sits alongside a separate WC on the first floor. Up to three dogs are welcome, with additional charges potentially applying.

Downstairs, the lounge has a wood burner with a starter pack of logs provided, and a Smart TV for evenings in. The kitchen/diner is well equipped with an electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, and garden doors open onto the patio on fine days. A breakfast bar with its own TV/DVD adds to the sociable feel of the space.

The enclosed garden has a lawn, patio, garden furniture and a BBQ. Driveway parking is available for two cars, and an electric car charger (7kW Type 2) can be arranged for an additional £35 per week by notifying the owner in advance. A pub is roughly 150 metres away, with Seaton Beach around a mile by a riverside footpath. Note that neighbours retain access along the front pathway of the cottages.

Travel cot, stairgate and highchair are all available, making the cottage practical for families with young children. The South West Coast Path's four-mile section from Seaton to Lyme Regis, partly through the Undercliffs National Nature Reserve, is straightforward to pick up from here.
