Toad Hall Cottage

Toad Hall Cottage is a traditional stone cottage in the hamlet of Hutcherleigh, about 1.8 miles from Blackawton, with Dartmouth 5.7 miles away and Totnes 8.1 miles away. It sleeps 2 in an open-plan, all-ground-floor studio, with exposed beams and a hand-painted ceiling of rural scenes above the four-poster bed.

The open-plan living space has the four-poster double bed, a sofa bed, a dining area and a woodburning stove, with underfloor heating throughout the cottage. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave and fridge/freezer, and there's a selection of books to read by the fire on cooler evenings.

A bright shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC sits just a few steps from the bed, also warmed by the underfloor heating. Double-glazed windows and STARLINK WiFi are fitted throughout, and bed linen, towels, fuel and power are included in the rent.

Directly opposite the cottage is a generous orchard area for guests to enjoy. Off-road parking for two cars is available about 40 metres away, and the cottage takes up to two well-behaved dogs, with no other animals permitted. Smoking is not allowed inside the cottage. A shop is 1.5 miles away and a pub 1.8 miles away.
