Tiller Cottage

Tiller Cottage sits within walking distance of the centre of Dartmouth; the cottage itself has no parking. A small view of the harbour greets you at the front door, and step inside to an open-plan living space where exposed brick frames a woodburning stove in the sitting area, and a wooden dining table sits under sash windows that let the light drift through.

The kitchen has tiled flooring and an electric oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, kettle and toaster for self-catering. Upstairs, reached by steep wooden stairs without a handrail, not suitable for young children or those with mobility issues, a double bedroom has a decorative fireplace and garden views, while the king-size room looks out over the town with an exposed brick wall and built-in wardrobe.

A shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC serves both bedrooms, and the cottage sleeps 4 in total across its two floors. Fuel, power and a starter pack for the woodburning stove are included in the rent, though guests need to bring their own logs to keep it burning through the evening. A Smart TV and WiFi cover evenings in, and bed linen and towels are provided.

Outside, an enclosed rear courtyard has furniture for sitting out. No pets and no smoking are permitted, and the shop and pub are a 0.1-mile walk, with the river 0.2 miles and the beach around 1.1 miles.
