The White House

The White House sits in an elevated position above Okehampton, with views across Dartmoor National Park from a property built with decorative fireplaces and wood panelling throughout. The kitchen/diner has a breakfast bar, and a separate formal dining room and sitting room give extra space to gather.

Two of the four bedrooms are doubles with their own en-suite, one with a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC, the other with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. A third double and a family room with three single beds share a family bathroom with a freestanding bath and walk-in shower. A conservatory and breakfast room add further space to sit and take in the outlook.

The kitchen is fitted with an electric range oven, induction hob, microwave, air fryer, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, wine chiller, washing machine and tumble dryer, and oil central heating covers the house. A highchair and travel cot are available, and two Smart TVs are fitted around the property.

The enclosed gardens have lawns, a terraced area and a patio with furniture. A fenced swimming pool on the grounds is not available for use, and a fountain fitted with a safety grille means children should be supervised outdoors. Private parking covers 6 cars, the shop and pub are both around 0.7 miles away, and one well-behaved dog is welcome. Smoking is not permitted, and a housekeeping bond applies to the booking.
