Reddaway Threshing Barn

Reddaway Threshing Barn is a barn conversion in the Devon countryside near Okehampton, on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, around 3.4 miles from the town. Off-road parking for 3 cars sits at the entrance, and the open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area is built around a kitchen island with a range cooker, plus a glazed rear extension with doors that fold open onto the patio. The barn sleeps 8 across four bedrooms.

Two king-size bedrooms are on the ground floor, one with its own en-suite shower room and walk-in wardrobe, the other with patio doors onto the garden; a family bathroom with a bath and a shower over serves the rest of the ground floor, along with a cloakroom. A twin bedroom is reached through a hidden door built into a bookcase, also on the ground floor with its own patio doors. Upstairs, a mezzanine level holds a super king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room, next to a sitting area with a Smart TV overlooking the living space below.

Outside, the garden is not fully enclosed and has a patio, a lawn, a fire pit and a wood-fired hot tub, with livestock in the neighbouring fields, so dogs need to be kept under close control. The kitchen has a range cooker, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine, a tumble dryer, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster, and there's a Smart TV and WiFi. Heating comes from an air source heat pump with electric heating, and fuel, power and a starter pack of logs for the hot tub are included in the rent, with extra logs available to buy on site.

Reddaway Threshing Barn welcomes one well-behaved pet. The nearest shop is 1.2 miles away and the nearest pub 1.9 miles. Christmas and New Year bookings need a minimum stay of seven nights.
