The Tallet

The Tallet occupies a converted 400-year-old barn in Dittisham, on the River Dart about 3.5 miles from Dartmouth. The building is laid out upside down, with the main living space on the first floor to make the most of its partial river views, and it sleeps 4 across two bedrooms.

Both bedrooms sit on the ground floor, a double and a twin, sharing a bathroom with a bath and hand shower plus a separate WC. Upstairs, the open-plan sitting room has a beamed ceiling and glazed doors onto a small patio balcony over the river, with a Smart TV and DVD player for evenings in.

The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, a microwave and a fridge with an ice box, and a washing machine is available for longer stays. Central heating covers the property, with fuel and power included in the rent, and a cot is provided for younger guests. Bed linen is included, though you will need to bring your own towels.

Off-road parking is provided for two cars in two reserved spaces, and a patio garden with chairs sits just outside. The Tallet does not accept pets and is no smoking throughout. The pub is less than a mile away, and the wider development runs to four acres of communal grounds shared with the other properties at Dittisham Court.
