The Old Wash House

The Old Wash House is a renovated Grade II listed Georgian mid-terrace in the Ford area of Dartmouth, just off Victoria Road and a five-minute level walk from the Old Market and Foss Street into town. Two steps lead down from the driveway into a paved courtyard and the kitchen/dining entrance, with a second front door down two further steps into the entrance porch.

Inside, the house sleeps 5 across three bedrooms: a master with a king-size bed and en-suite shower room, a double bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe, and a single bedroom set in the eaves. There's also a family bathroom on the first floor. The sitting room has a bay window and a log burner effect gas fire, and the kitchen/dining area is fitted with a double oven, dishwasher, washing machine and a built-in dog house for a dog.

Outside is a sunny paved terrace within an enclosed, walled courtyard, with a small front garden behind its own gate. Off-road parking is provided for one car, and an EV charging point is available on request. A stair gate, highchair and travel cot are supplied, useful for families with young children, and gas central heating runs on a Nest thermostat throughout.

The Old Wash House takes two dogs, with the enclosed rear courtyard and front garden gate keeping them contained. Blackpool Sands beach is a five to ten minute drive away, and Woodlands Theme Park is about three miles out of town. The property is strictly no smoking.
