5 The Pottery

This two-bedroom apartment occupies part of the Old Pottery Barn at Warfleet, on the edge of Dartmouth, and spans two floors with underfloor heating running throughout. Original features from the old barn remain, including exposed stone walls and wooden beams, combined with a contemporary interior.

You enter on the ground floor into an open-plan lounge, diner and kitchen. Two sofas sit near a Juliet balcony, which is not a usable outdoor space, and a large dining table gives space for family meals. The kitchen, reached through an open archway, is fully fitted with an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher, and a washing machine is housed in a cupboard off the hallway.

A few steps lead up from the living area to the double bedroom and family bathroom, which has a shower over the bath and a WC. The lower ground floor holds the second bedroom, furnished with a king-size and a single bed, along with an en-suite shower room. The apartment sleeps five in total and has no private outdoor space of its own, though Warfleet Creek and Sugary Cove Beach on the River Dart are under half a mile away.

A travel cot and highchair are available on request, though guests should bring their own cot bedding, and a stairgate cannot be fitted due to the width of the stairs. One dog is welcome, with additional charges applying. There is designated private parking for one car, mobile signal is described as weak, and guests should bring their own beach towels. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out before 10am.
