Fairhaven

Fairhaven is a second-floor apartment in the heart of Dartmouth, reached by two flights of stairs from a shared ground-floor entrance. It sleeps 5 across three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with two of the bedrooms glimpsing the River Dart.

The living space keeps its original antique pine flooring alongside a feature fireplace with an electric stove, and large double doors lead through to a dining area with a solid oak table that seats six, plus board games, puzzles and a portable speaker for evenings in. The kitchen has a four-ring gas hob, an integrated electric oven, a dishwasher and a coffee maker with a milk frother.

Upstairs, the king-size and twin bedrooms sit alongside a single bedroom that doubles as a snug, with bi-folding doors opening onto a private roof terrace with a bistro table and chairs. A bathroom with a large walk-in shower and a separate bath serves the floor, plus a second shower room. A fire alarm test is carried out every Thursday around 10am, worth knowing if you're a light sleeper.

There is no parking at the property itself; a Park and Ride permit is supplied instead. No pets or smoking are permitted, and there are two narrow flights of steps up to the apartment.
