The Moorings Apartment - Brixham

This ground-floor apartment sits close to the harbour in Brixham, on the western side of Torbay, and is set up for a couple looking for a straightforward base near the water. A path leads to the front door, and inside the lounge has a large bay window looking over the harbour, two sofas and a Smart TV.

The separate kitchen/diner is fitted with an oven, hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, with a dining table for meals in. The single bedroom has a king-size bed, bedside tables and a wardrobe, while the shower room offers a large walk-in shower and WC rather than a bath. A door from the kitchen area leads to a courtyard with covered storage, useful for bicycles.

To the front there is a shingled garden with seating and sea views over the town, giving a spot to sit outside without leaving the property. Parking for one car is provided nearby, though guests should note that many of the surrounding streets are narrow and winding and are not suitable for cars, so the final approach may need to be made on foot.

One dog is welcome by arrangement, though the apartment is only suitable for one medium-sized dog and additional charges may apply. Wi-Fi is included, along with electricity, heating, linen and towels. A travel cot and highchair are available for those travelling with a young child. Beach, pub and shops are all within walking distance, making this a practical option for exploring the harbour town without needing to drive once you have arrived.
