The Link

The Link is a white-washed holiday home on the edge of Torquay town centre, one of two Cary Court Holiday Homes close to the harbour. It sleeps 6 across three bedrooms: a double with a chaise longue and en-suite shower room, a twin that converts to a double with its own en-suite, and a single with an additional truckle bed and basin.

The sitting room has sofas and a TV, and the kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher and a picnic basket. A ground-floor shower room sits alongside the stairs up to the bedrooms. Three TVs and WiFi cover the house, though the WiFi can be unreliable through the old Victorian walls, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

Off-road parking is available for up to three cars, at the bottom of a sloped driveway; loading and unloading can be done outside the property but the spaces are not for long-term use. Two steps lead up to the front door. A rear, enclosed, gravelled courtyard has outdoor furniture and a gas barbecue.

The Link welcomes two well-behaved dogs. The nearest shop is 0.3 miles away, with a pub at 0.6 miles and the beach 1.2 miles away. Smoking is not permitted inside, and bookings run to a minimum of 3 nights.
