The Linhay

The Linhay is a single-storey cottage in Muddiford, one of five in the Hewish Mill Cottages group, and sleeps 2 in a king-size bedroom with its own en-suite shower room. The whole cottage sits on one level, with an open-plan living space combining the kitchen, dining and sitting areas.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, a fridge with an ice box, a combined washing machine and tumble drier, a slimline dishwasher and a coffee machine. Oil central heating covers the cottage. A TV, DVD player and WiFi cover evenings in, alongside a small selection of books, and fuel and power are included in the rent.

A private front patio with furniture gives space for meals outside, and off-road parking is provided for 2 cars. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, with use of a communal, enclosed dog paddock on site. The cottage is no smoking throughout.

The Linhay can also be booked together with the four other Hewish Mill cottages nearby, sleeping up to 26 guests across the group. The shop is 4 miles away and the pub 3 miles. West Down, with its Norman church and a 14th-century pub, is 5.7 miles away, and Ilfracombe is a further 5 miles beyond that.
