Fern Cottage

Fern Cottage is set over three floors in Muddiford, close to West Down and within reach of Exmoor National Park. An attached cottage with a private front patio, it sleeps 6 and suits families, groups of friends or couples travelling together.

The open-plan living space, kitchen and dining area are on the first floor, with a homely sitting area for evenings in. The three bedrooms are split across the upper floors: a super-king-size room on the second floor with its own bathroom, and a double plus twin sharing a bathroom on the third floor. There are three steps up to the entrance, and the property is reached via a flight of stairs that may not suit guests with lower mobility.

The kitchen has an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and coffee machine, and oil central heating covers the cottage alongside a Smart TV and WiFi. A travel cot and highchair are available on request, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

Fern Cottage welcomes two well-behaved dogs, with a communal enclosed dog paddock on site, and smoking is not permitted. Off-road parking is provided for 2 cars. The shop is 4 miles away and the pub 3 miles, with Ilfracombe 5 miles beyond West Down.
