The Hut

The Hut is an all-ground-floor chalet a short drive from Dartmouth, with contemporary interiors and nautical touches inspired by the nearby River Dart. The open-plan living, dining and kitchen area is the heart of the house, and the chalet sleeps 4 across two bedrooms.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed and wardrobe, useful for storing shopping from Dartmouth's boutique shops, and the second bedroom is a twin with two single beds and a chest of drawers. The shower room has a large walk-in shower cubicle, wash hand basin and WC.

The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, a fridge with an ice compartment, a microwave and a washing machine, and there's a flat-screen TV and WiFi in the living area. The dining area seats all four guests, and fuel and power are included in the rent along with bed and bath linen. Outside, a communal area laid to lawn has private seating for The Hut's guests, with views over the surrounding countryside.

An allocated parking space is provided a two-minute walk from the property. Pets are not accepted, and the chalet is strictly no smoking. Guests need to bring their own beach towels, and the historic town centre is around a five-minute drive away.
