The Hideaway

The Hideaway is a three-storey cottage close to the centre of Dartmouth, a short walk from the shop and pub. The cottage sleeps 4 across two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with the twin bedroom on the ground floor.

The ground floor holds the twin bedroom alongside a bathroom with a corner bath, shower over, basin and heated towel rail. The open-plan living space upstairs has a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a Smart TV and Amazon Firestick. A further flight of stairs leads to a king-size bedroom with Velux windows and its own en-suite shower room.

The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, a washing machine and a slimline dishwasher, plus a ground coffee machine and kettle for mornings in. WiFi covers the cottage, and steps at the entrance are worth planning around.

The Hideaway takes two well-behaved dogs. Outside, an enclosed garden has decking and seating for a morning coffee or evening drink. Parking is via the public car park, with a Park and Ride permit provided for the car park at the top of town; the bus service does not run out of season. Smoking is not permitted, and the shop and pub are both 0.1 miles away.
