The Garden House

Set in the village of Kingston in the South Hams, this single-storey chalet sleeps two and sits at the end of a 40-metre paved pathway through landscaped shared gardens. Arrival is through French doors into an open-plan living area where a sofa and TV occupy one corner and the double bed tucks neatly into another, all within the same free-flowing space.

The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and coffee machine. A shower room with WC and heated towel rail sits at the rear, alongside a storage cupboard that also houses the washing machine, which is useful for longer stays or muddy walking kit.

Outside, a private decked area with seating, dining furniture and a BBQ suits relaxed evening meals in the open air. The surrounding gardens are shared with the owners. Parking is on-street and subject to availability, and no dogs are permitted.

Wonwell Sands is around 1.5 miles away, a tidal bay that opens into a wide stretch of sand at low tide. Ayrmer Cove, part of the South West Coast Path and within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is roughly 2.5 miles distant. A pub is 0.4 miles away and a shop around 1.9 miles.
