Three-bedroom cottage near Ivybridge with a wood burner and terrace

The Clock House stands beside Lukesland House amid its 24-acre garden, about a mile and a half from Ivybridge on the Dartmoor side of the town. Guests enter through stable doors into a hall leading to a sitting room with a wood burning stove and a kitchen with space for family meals, both opening through French windows onto a terrace.

Sleeping 5, the ground-floor bedroom has its own en-suite wet room, while two further bedrooms, a super king and a single, sit upstairs and share a bathroom with a bath and shower over. Above the sitting room a gallery holds an optional sofa bed and a comfortable seating area.

The kitchen has a fridge-freezer, washer-dryer, dishwasher and microwave, and a Smart TV with WiFi covers the sitting room. Central heating combines electric panel heaters and underfloor heating with the wood burning stove, and a utility room and ground-floor WC add practical space. Off-road parking is provided for two cars, and the terrace has a barbecue.

The Clock House takes one well-behaved dog, and smoking is not permitted. A cot and highchair are available on request. From April to mid-June and again from mid-October to mid-November, the garden at Lukesland opens to the public twice a week.
