Lukesland Wing

Lukesland Wing forms part of the Grade II listed Lukesland House, built in 1862, standing in 25 acres of gardens near Ivybridge on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Guests arrive along a tree-lined drive to a private entrance, with a cloakroom and utility space just inside.

The recently refitted kitchen and dining room centre on a movable island, and an upstairs sitting room has a woodburning stove, a piano and space for dining or games. Three bedrooms lead off the landing: a king-size room with an en-suite walk-in shower, a family room with a king-size and a single bed, and a twin, served by a family bathroom with a bath and shower over.

The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, cafetiere, kettle and toaster. Oil-fired heating covers the house, and fuel, power, logs for the woodburner, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. A travel cot and highchair are available on request.

Outside, a seating area with furniture looks over the gardens, which open to the public twice weekly from mid-March to mid-June and again from early October to mid-November. Off-road parking is provided for three cars. No pets are allowed, and smoking is not permitted. The shop and pub are about 2 miles away.
