The Bolt

The Bolt is a one-bedroom cottage in Lynmouth sleeping two adults, with no suitability for children. A double bed, ample storage and a desk fill the bedroom, while the shower room sits just off the kitchen. The living area centres on a comfortable sofa, armchair and Smart TV, with a bistro dining table providing space to eat in. Exposed shiplap boarding to the ceilings throughout and a wood-burner-effect electric fire give the interior a distinctive character.

The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee machine and washing machine, making self-catering straightforward without a trip to a launderette. There is no outdoor space at the property itself, though the East Lyn River is around 100 metres away, and a shop and pub are within 400 metres.

Parking requires some planning outside the winter months. Unrestricted on-street parking is available from 1 November to Good Friday; beyond those dates, permits can be purchased from the Exmoor National Park office in the Lynmouth Pavilion, the Lynton Tourist Information office in Lynton, via the Ringo App at location 236604, or at pay machines.

One well-behaved dog is welcome, with additional charges that may apply. The Tarka Trail and the South West Coast Path both run through Lynmouth, making the area well suited to walks with or without a dog. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00.
