Teign Cottage

Teign Cottage sits within a complex of four barn conversion holiday cottages in Broadhempston, near Totnes, and sleeps four guests across two bedrooms. The king-size room looks out over the cottage's green grounds, while the twin bedroom has high vaulted ceilings. Both rooms are on the first floor, and there are two steps up to the entrance, so the property suits guests who are comfortable on stairs. One bathroom serves the cottage, with a bath and shower over it.

The ground-floor living area has slate tile floors and an open-plan kitchen with an electric oven, four-ring hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave. A four-seater dining table sits beside glass doors that lead to a gravelled area with outdoor furniture. A 32-inch Smart TV is provided alongside high-speed Starlink wi-fi, which also supports mobile signal via wi-fi calling. Underfloor heating keeps the ground floor comfortable throughout the year.

Shared facilities are a practical highlight. The indoor heated swimming pool operates on a rota giving each cottage an exclusive daily time slot, and the outdoor sunken hot tub on the shared veranda works on the same arrangement. A charcoal BBQ and outdoor dining furniture are available, and a four-acre orchard and lawned garden can be explored on foot. A shared laundry room provides a washing machine and tumble dryer with complimentary washing tablets. Private parking is allocated within a shared eight-space car park on site. Travel cot and highchair are available on request; please bring your own cot linen and swimming towels.

One dog is welcome, though additional charges may apply. The two village pubs and a shop are around 0.8 miles away. The cottage can also be booked alongside up to three neighbouring cottages, Bovey, Plym and Dart, which together sleep a further 14 guests, making the complex suitable for larger group gatherings.
