Dart Cottage

Dart Cottage sits within a small complex of four holiday cottages near Broadhempston, close to the owners' farmhouse, and sleeps up to six guests across three first-floor bedrooms. Oak French doors open into a kitchen and dining room with tall windows, leading through to a living room with a corner sofa, Smart TV and wood burner (first basket of logs supplied outside summer). A WC on the ground floor adds convenience to this open-plan space.

Upstairs, the master bedroom is king-size with an en-suite shower room, a second king-size room has zip-and-link beds that can be requested as a twin, and the third bedroom is a twin suited to children or an additional couple. The main bathroom has a bath with a shower over it. Underfloor heating runs throughout, and high-speed Starlink wifi supports mobile signal via wifi calling.

Outside, guests have a private gravelled terrace with furniture and a charcoal BBQ, while the wider grounds, including a four-acre orchard with bird feeders, are shared with the other cottages on site. The indoor heated swimming pool and the outdoor hot tub are also shared facilities, allocated to each cottage on a rota with exclusive time slots, and children need supervision around both. Beach and swimming towels are not provided, though general towels are included.

The kitchen has a dishwasher, electric oven and four-ring hob, and a washing machine and tumble dryer are available in a shared laundry area with complimentary tablets and conditioner. A travel cot and highchair can be provided on request. Up to two dogs are welcome, with additional charges applying. Private parking is available within a shared car park holding eight spaces in total. This cottage can also be booked together with three neighbouring properties for larger groups.
