Sundowner

Sundowner is a ground-floor apartment within a seafront development close to the sandy beach at Westward Ho, sleeping two guests. It sits among the town's traditional seaside amenities, with shops, cafés and pubs within walking distance, and the harbour town of Bideford and fishing village of Appledore both a short drive away.

The open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area has floor-to-ceiling windows giving sea views, along with comfortable sofas and a TV/DVD player. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, gas hob, fridge, freezer and microwave, and a separate utility area houses a washer/dryer.

The single bedroom has a king-size bed, an oscillating tower fan and a television, while the ground-floor bathroom includes a shower over the bath and a WC. Both electric and central heating are included in the stay, and a travel cot and highchair can be provided on request for visiting children.

Outside, a patio to the front of the property has garden furniture where guests can sit within earshot of the waves. There is off-road private parking for one car in a rear gated car park. Dogs are not accepted at this property. Beyond the beach itself, which offers surfing lessons at a nearby academy, the neighbouring Northam Burrows Country Park provides a quieter spot for a walk and is known for its marine wildlife. Check-in is from 16:00, with departure required by 10:00.
