Cornborough Sunrise

Cornborough Sunrise sits on a 60-acre cliff-top estate above Westward Ho beach in North Devon. The cottage is arranged on a single level, with a super-king-size bedroom, an en-suite bathroom with shower over Whirlpool bath and WC, and a spacious open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. A Smart TV, Bluetooth stereo and wood burner effect electric fire furnish the living space, while the kitchen includes electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer.

A south-facing enclosed patio at the front of the property holds a private hot-tub, garden furniture and gas BBQ. French doors from the lounge open directly onto this space, making alfresco dining straightforward in warmer weather. The grounds lead on to the South West Coast Path and down to Westward Ho beach, with that direct access making it easy to leave the car behind once you have arrived.

Ample off-road parking is provided on site. Shared facilities on the estate include an indoor play barn, open from March to October. One dog is welcome, though additional charges may apply. A travel cot and highchair are available on request. The property draws from a private water supply. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure by 10:00.

Stabling for horses can be arranged directly with the owner before arrival, and exclusive discounts are available for a number of local attractions. The cottage is decorated for Christmas during the festive period. Shops and pubs are 1 mile away, and the beach is within walking distance.
