Strawberry Bank - Pipistrelle

Strawberry Bank - Pipistrelle is a three-bedroom barn conversion in the village of Pyworthy, near Bridgerule, with vaulted, beamed ceilings inside. It sleeps 6 across three flexible bedrooms: a mezzanine super-king-size room that can be a twin, a twin room with a Smart TV that can be made super-king-size, and a ground-floor king-size room, all served by a ground-floor bathroom with bath, walk-in shower, basin and WC.

A utility room has a wall-mounted dog dryer and its own shower room with shower, basin and WC. The living/dining room is built around a woodburning stove, and a step leads down into the fully fitted kitchen with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and coffee machine. Central heating covers the barn, with fuel, power and a stove starter pack included in the rent along with bed linen and towels.

Outside, an enclosed patio has furniture, a barbecue, a hot/cold dog shower and a private hot tub. A stairgate is available, and a travel cot and highchair can be arranged in advance, though cot linen isn't supplied. Guests can also book use of a shared gym and sauna on site, and EV charging is available on site.

Parking covers 2 cars off-road, with up to 2 more vehicles possible on site on request. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, with an enclosed paddock, an external dog shower and pet towels provided; dogs should stay on a lead except on the patio and in the paddock. Note there are low beams in the upper bedrooms and neither super-king-size room has an enclosing door. There is a fenced lake on site reached through a gate, so parents of young children should take care. Smoking is not permitted, a minimum stay of two nights applies, and the shop is around 5 miles away, the pub about 2 miles.
