Monks Rest

Monks Rest is a two-bedroom property near Pyworthy, close to Holsworthy in North Devon, suiting a small family or couples travelling together, with sleeping space for up to four.

The ground floor is centred on an open-plan kitchen/diner with a slate floor, fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, a fridge with ice compartment, a second fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a coffee pod machine. A cosy lounge sits alongside with a Smart TV and DVD player, and a ground-floor WC is accessed through this room. Upstairs, the double bedroom has its own TV/DVD and the twin bedroom sits alongside; both share a bathroom fitted with a bath and shower.

Outside there is seating to the front of the property, while the rear has a private lawned garden with a summerhouse, garden furniture and a charcoal barbecue. Off-road parking is available on site, though EV charging is not permitted here. Wi-Fi is included but can be intermittent given the rural setting.

Two dogs are welcome, with additional charges applying. A travel cot and highchair are provided for younger guests. An internal door connects to an adjacent property; this is permanently secured and cannot be opened, so it has no bearing on privacy during a stay.
