Higher Hopworthy - The Roundhouse

This converted barn sits on a working farm close to Pyworthy, taking its name from the hexagonal lounge that once housed the horse-driven mill. Original beams remain visible alongside contemporary furnishings throughout the ground floor, which opens into a kitchen/diner equipped for self-catering and a dining space with room for the whole party.

The main bedroom is on the ground floor, with a king-size bed, en-suite shower room and French doors leading straight onto the patio. Upstairs, two further twin rooms share a family bathroom with both a bath and a separate shower cubicle; one of the twin rooms can be converted to a super king on request. The property sleeps six across the three bedrooms.

Outside, an enclosed patio with outdoor seating and a charcoal barbecue gives space for meals in the open air, and guests have private use of a hot tub during their stay. Off-road parking is provided for up to three cars, and access is via B roads. Guests are welcome to explore the wider 140-acre farm on which the cottage stands.

The lounge has a Smart TV, board games and a Wii console, with a second Smart TV in the main bedroom. The kitchen includes a dishwasher and washing machine, and a highchair and travel cot can be provided on request for families with young children. One dog is permitted per booking, with additional charges applying.
