Spicery

Spicery is an adults-only cottage in the countryside near Tedburn St Mary, with lake views and a hot tub in the rear garden. It sleeps 4 across two king-size bedrooms, each with its own en-suite shower room, and welcomes couples or a group of friends rather than families with children.

The kitchen is well-equipped for home cooking, with an adjoining utility room housing a washing machine, a useful addition for longer stays. The living/dining room has a dining table for four, two sofas, an armchair and a TV, and patio doors open onto a decking area furnished for alfresco dining. A ground-floor cloakroom with a WC and basin adds convenience downstairs.

Upstairs, both king-size bedrooms have their own TV and an en-suite shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. The second bedroom also has a Juliette balcony with views over the lake and surrounding countryside.

The rear garden has a patio, lawn, additional seating and the hot tub, and off-road parking is provided for two cars. One well-behaved dog is welcome, though supervision is needed around the three lakes on the site. Smoking is not permitted anywhere, and the shop and pub are around 1.5 miles away from the property.
