Skippers Cottage

Skippers Cottage sits close to the harbour in Ilfracombe, with the beach, shops and pubs within walking distance. It sleeps four across two bedrooms and suits couples or a small family wanting to be close to the water without a car.

On entering, the kitchen/diner lies to the left and the lounge to the right, where a large corner sofa faces glimpsed views of the harbour. A wood burner effect electric fire adds warmth on cooler evenings. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine, and a smart TV is provided in the lounge.

A spiral staircase with a low ceiling leads up from the kitchen area to the first-floor king-size bedroom, which has sea views and its own shower room and WC. A second spiral staircase continues to the second-floor twin room, also with sea views, served by a bathroom with a bath, separate shower and WC.

Parking is not provided on-site; visitors use public car parks nearby, where charges apply, and weekly permits can be arranged through North Devon Council. Two dogs are welcome but are restricted to the ground floor, with the stair door kept closed at all times. A travel cot and highchair are available, and internet access is provided throughout the property.
