Sitka

Sitka sits within a gated plot in the countryside near Hartland, sleeping up to eight across four bedrooms. Two double bedrooms upstairs each have their own en-suite shower room, one with a super-king bed and the other with a king-size bed and a separate WC. Downstairs there are two further bedrooms, one with a king-size four-poster and one with twin beds, sharing a family bathroom with bath and WC.

The open-plan living space forms the heart of the house, combining kitchen, dining and lounge areas with sliding glass doors that open onto an elevated deck. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and coffee pod machine, while a separate utility room houses the washing machine, fridge/freezer and chest freezer. A wood burner in the lounge comes with an initial basket of logs, and double doors lead through to a snug with a smart TV, PS3 and a selection of board games for quieter evenings.

Outside, the private garden is bordered by hedgerows and post-and-wire fencing in places, with further seating and a fire pit for evenings outdoors. Private parking is available for four cars on the gated plot. The property has a private water supply, which guests should be aware of before arrival.

Up to four dogs can stay, with additional charges applying. A travel cot and highchair are available on request, making this a practical choice for family groups. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00.
