Horseshoe Cottage

Horseshoe Cottage is a stone-built house on the outskirts of Hartland, sleeping 8 across four bedrooms and four bathrooms, two of each on the ground floor. A king-size and a twin bedroom, both upstairs, have their own en-suite shower rooms, while a zip-link super-king-size (can be set up as a twin) and a second twin sit on the ground floor next to two more bathrooms.

The kitchen leads into a living/dining room with a TV, and there's a separate first-floor sitting room and a games room with table football. Oil central heating covers the cottage. A few steps run from the kitchen down to the ground-floor lounge/diner, with a handrail.

An indoor heated swimming pool, viewable from the downstairs lounge, is a uniform 4ft deep with no deeper or shallower section, and should be covered and the door shut when not in use; children need supervising in the water at all times.

Outside, an enclosed front patio has furniture and a barbecue, and a larger enclosed garden has benches, a second barbecue, garden games and views towards Lundy Island. Off-road parking is provided for 3 cars, and a highchair, travel cot and stairgate are all available.

Horseshoe Cottage welcomes up to three well-behaved pets, which must be kept on leads and are not allowed in the bedrooms or the pool area. Smoking isn't permitted. The shop is 1.6 miles away and the pub 1.8 miles.
