Signalman's Cottage - Brixham

Signalman's Cottage is a compact former railway worker's home in Brixham, arranged over two floors and suited to a couple. The open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area sits at the heart of the ground floor, with a sofa in front of a Smart TV and a built-in cottage-style seat alongside a couple of chairs for meals. The kitchen has an electric oven, two-ring hob, microwave, dishwasher and a fridge with ice compartment.

Upstairs, the double bedroom has its own Smart TV, and an en-suite shower room with shower and WC completes the accommodation. There is no separate bathroom, so the shower room serves as the only washing facility in the cottage.

Outside, a small patio at the front of the property offers a spot to sit with a drink after a day out. Parking is on the road a short walk away and subject to availability, though weekly permits can be bought for the local car park; the cottage does not have dedicated parking. Wi-Fi is included throughout the stay.

Up to two small dogs are welcome, with an additional charge applying, though owners are asked to keep them out of the bedroom given the size of the cottage. The beach, pubs and shops in Brixham are all within walking distance, making this a practical base for exploring the town on foot.
