Shipwrights

Shipwrights is a ground-floor apartment on the edge of the River Dart, on the outskirts of Galmpton, a short drive south of Dartmoor National Park. An open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area forms the main living space, with a Smart TV for evenings in, and the apartment sleeps 2 in a single king-size bedroom.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and a slimline dishwasher, enough for cooking for two. A shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC serves the bedroom, and WiFi covers the whole apartment. This property can also be booked together with a neighbouring apartment for a party of 4.

A front terrace gives a spot to sit outside, and the Slipway cafe is within walking distance, though it isn't open every day of the week. Heating, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent, so there's little to bring beyond your own food and clothes.

Shipwrights welcomes one well-behaved dog. Parking is provided for 1 car, and the shop, pub and beach are all around 1.6 miles away. Galmpton itself sits between Paignton and Brixham, with footpaths along the River Dart and easy access to Elberry Cove and Broadsands Beach nearby. Paignton is around 2.8 miles away and Torquay around 5.9 miles, both within easy reach by car. Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment.
