Dolphin Cottage

Dolphin Cottage sits on the edge of a working boatyard in Galmpton, with views of the River Dart from every bedroom. The open-plan ground floor brings together a kitchen, dining area and sitting area under vaulted wooden ceilings and Velux windows, with a woodburning stove and two leather sofas in the sitting area.

The kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge with icebox, washer/dryer, dishwasher and a wine chiller, and the dining table seats six. A ground-floor super-king-size bedroom, which can convert to a twin, has its own en-suite bath and shower over. Upstairs, a mezzanine hallway leads to two further king-size bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bath and shower over, plus a cloakroom with basin and WC on the ground floor. Three Smart TVs, a DAB radio and WiFi cover the cottage.

Parking is provided for 1 car, with further parking available on request at the boatyard, though the parking is up a steep hill more than 30 steps from the cottage. The front door is not suitable for those with limited mobility, with 5 steps down into the ground-floor bedroom and living area; an alternative route is available through the back door and living room double doors.

Dolphin Cottage welcomes one well-behaved dog, though pets are not allowed in the bedrooms, and the property does not suit children under 12. The nearest shop is 0.4 miles away, the pub 0.6 miles and the river 0.2 miles. Smoking is not permitted.
