September Cottage

September Cottage sits within walking distance of the harbour and shops in Brixham, reached via a flight of steep external steps up to the front door. Inside, an entrance hall provides space to hang outdoor clothing before opening into a characterful lounge/diner with original stonework, exposed beams, a Smart TV and a wood burner, complete with a first basket of logs included in the stay.

Stairs lead up to the first floor, where a well-equipped kitchen offers an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine and iron. A door from the kitchen opens onto an enclosed patio area with garden furniture and a planted border, making it possible to dine outside in fine weather. The double bedroom, furnished with an antique wrought iron bed frame, sits alongside the property's single bathroom, which has a shower over bath and WC.

A stone-built potting shed off the patio provides useful outside storage and houses a freezer. Parking is arranged through a permit for the nearby church car park, valid at all times except 9am to noon on Sundays, with roadside parking also available nearby subject to availability and long-stay public car parks within reach. The cottage does not accept infants or children, but one dog is welcome to stay, with additional charges applying.

Given the internal stairs and the steep external approach to the front door, this cottage suits couples looking for a base close to Brixham's harbourside pubs, cafes and shops rather than those needing level access throughout.
