Saddleback

Saddleback is a bespoke-built detached cabin for four, set within the gated grounds of The Pig On The Hill pub just under a mile from Westward Ho, where a two-mile sandy beach, surf school and the South West Coast Path are all within easy reach. The cabin is one of five contemporary units sharing a private driveway, giving a quiet, site-feel without sacrificing self-contained independence.

Inside, the open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area has a log burner with the first basket of logs provided, a Smart TV and a dining table for four. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer. The double bedroom has bi-fold doors that open directly onto the decked terrace, while the twin room can be converted to a super king-size on request using the zip-and-link beds. A contemporary shower room with WC serves both bedrooms.

The fully enclosed decked terrace has countryside views and a sunken private hot tub. A gas Weber BBQ is available on request. Laundry facilities, including a washing machine, tumble dryer and drying area, are available in a communal laundry room on a honesty-box basis, rather than within the cabin itself. Ample off-road parking is provided on site.

The Pig On The Hill pub, an award-winning venue open Wednesday to Sunday from Easter to Christmas Eve, is on site for meals or drinks, and the team also offers takeaway and service packs to the cabins directly. Bed linen, towels, electricity and heating are all included in the tariff. Dogs are not accepted at this property.
