This single-bedroom cottage sits on a 60-acre privately owned cliff-top estate above Westward Ho beach in North Devon, accommodating two guests. The open-plan living area opens via French doors onto a south-facing lawn and patio, making it well suited to alfresco dining. A traditional inglenook fireplace with a wood-burner-effect electric fire provides warmth on cooler evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped with a central island unit, electric oven, gas hob, large American-style fridge-freezer, wine cooler and dishwasher.

Upstairs, the bedroom features a Parisian-style ornate super-king-size bed and a private glass-fronted balcony overlooking the countryside. A whirlpool bath sits within the bedroom itself, while an en-suite shower room offers a walk-in shower and Jack and Jill sinks. Smart TV and DVD player are provided in the lounge, with a further TV in the bedroom.

The enclosed south-facing garden includes a two-person hot tub for private use, lawn, patio and gas BBQ, with furniture supplied. A washer-dryer is in the kitchen. Travel cot and highchair are available on request. One off-road parking space is provided.

On the estate, a shared indoor play barn operates from March to October, and The Nest, a Scandinavian BBQ hut, is available to hire separately. Massage bookings can also be arranged through the owner. The beach is within walking distance, with shops and pubs around a mile away. Check-in is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00. Two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply.
