Rack Hays

Rack Hays is a converted barn set within a working farm in the courtyard near Payhembury, close to Honiton in Mid and East Devon. It sleeps up to eight guests across four bedrooms and suits walkers or families wanting a rural base with easy access to farmland footpaths.

A private garden pathway leads to the entrance hallway, which opens into a bright open-plan kitchen and diner fitted with an electric range oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and Nespresso machine. A separate utility room houses the washer/dryer. The adjoining lounge has a wood burner, with the first basket of logs included, plus a TV and DVD player.

The ground-floor bedroom is a super-king zip-and-link room that can be arranged as a twin on request, with its own en-suite shower room and WC. Upstairs, a king-size bedroom also has an en-suite shower room and WC, alongside a second king-size room and a twin bedroom, served by a family bathroom with bath and shower.

Outside, a generous enclosed garden has a patio, outdoor furniture and a gas barbecue, directly accessible from the barn. A communal courtyard and children's play area are shared with one other property on the farm. Ample off-road parking is provided along with an electric vehicle charging point. Two dogs are welcome, with additional charges applying, though the owners do not accept group, hen or stag bookings as this remains a family home.
