This cottage sits on the rural edge of Brixham, spread over three floors with a woodburning stove in the living/dining room and a courtyard garden to the rear. The kitchen adjoins the living space, well-equipped for cooking a full meal for the group.

A double bedroom and a bunk room sleep four, and a second-floor single, suitable for children aged 5 to 15, is reached by a ladder. Headroom is limited in places because of the age of the property, so the top floor suits an older child or teenager rather than an adult. A double sofa bed in the living/dining room adds further flexibility for extra guests.

The single bathroom has a roll-top bath and a separate rainfall shower, basin and WC. The kitchen has a gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, and a Smart TV, books, games and WiFi cover evenings in. Gas central heating and the woodburning stove keep the cottage warm, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. A cot and highchair are available on request.

The enclosed courtyard garden has patio furniture and a barbecue for outdoor meals, and roadside parking is available nearby. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, and the property is no smoking throughout. A shop is around 0.6 miles away and a pub about 0.8 miles.

Brixham harbour is within reach for watching the fishing boats or joining a boat trip, and the South West Coastal Path runs close by. Dartmouth is around 5 miles away, Paignton about 6 miles and Torquay roughly 8 miles, each a further day out along this stretch of the English Riviera.
