Putsborough Cottage at South Lobb Farm

Putsborough Cottage forms part of South Lobb Farm in the hamlet of Lobb, close to Braunton and within easy reach of Croyde and Saunton. The cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms and suits families or small groups looking for a countryside base with practical extras.

Inside, a semi open-plan kitchen and living/dining area gives guests a comfortable space for meals and evenings in, with a dishwasher, electric oven and hob, and a Smart TV. The bedrooms are split over two floors: the master upstairs has a king-size bed and field views, while the ground-floor room has twin beds that can be converted to a king on request, plus a single day bed for extra flexibility. A single family bathroom serves the property, fitted with a bath, overhead shower and WC.

Outdoor space is a mix of private and shared areas. A small courtyard just outside the cottage has a bistro dining set and barbecue for private use, while guests can also access a large communal garden with a play area and seating. This shared garden and the adjoining play field are not enclosed and back onto grazing farmland, so dogs must stay on a lead in all outside areas. A shared, heated outdoor swimming pool is available from May to September, fenced separately from the garden. Storage is provided for bikes, surfboards and other beach equipment, along with an outdoor wash area for wetsuits.

Practical details worth noting before booking: private parking is provided for two cars, and there is an electric vehicle charging point on site. Up to two dogs are welcome, with an additional charge applying. A travel cot and highchair are available on request. The property can also be booked together with two neighbouring properties sleeping five and eight, useful for larger family gatherings travelling together.
